Brenda Sue Haygood was born in Tyler, Texas on June 15, 1944 to R.L. Morphis and Dorothy Cantrell Morphis and passed away in Mesquite, Texas on October 22, 2017.



She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Eddie Morphis, Joe Morphis, Robbie Lee Morphis and her daughter Shannon Wilson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Eddie Morphis, Joe Morphis, Robbie Lee Morphis and her daughter Shannon Wilson.



Left with cherished memories is her husband of over 45 years, David Haygood; son Joe Wilson; daughter Randi Holt; daughter Kristina Schmitz & husband Doug; son David Wilson; son Jason Haygood & wife Tyna; sister Donna Kaye Cannaday; sister-in-law Mary Morphis; her four legged child and constant companion Buddy; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family loved ones and beloved friends.



Sue was a very selfless person who always put the needs of others before her own. She enjoyed fishing and singing gospel songs. Sue loved the Lord and she loved her family. Being with her family and going to church always made Sue happy. She was a prayer warrior whose faith never faltered and truly believed in the power of prayer.



The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8 pm. Thursday October 26, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. A graveside service to celebrate Sue’s life will be at 2:00 pm Friday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, Texas where Sue will be laid to rest in the Garden of Roses.
