Larry Shawn Blackwell, 33, passed away on August 3, 2017. He was born on May 30, 1984 to Ira “Buddy” and Tina (Bolton) Blackwell, Jr. in Dallas, TX.

Larry was employed at Romans Adjustors for the last few years, working alongside his dad. He loved to tinker with motorcycles, or just about anything he could, and always worked hard to keep his truck clean. He also liked listening to any kind of music, especially songs with a heavy bass. Larry was very funny and enjoyed making people laugh, and when someone needed something he was always there to help. His greatest pleasure in life were his twin toddlers, his mama and the rest of his family and they will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Preceding him in death are his daughter Katelyn Blackwell and grandfathers Ira Blackwell, Sr. and Terry Bolton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Leah Blackwell and Larry Blackwell; parents Buddy and Tina Blackwell; sisters Brandy Banda and Krystal Blackwell; brothers Bobby Blackwell and Ira “Bubba” Blackwell III; nieces and nephews: Hayleigh Mitchell, Nathan Banda, Izzic Banda, David J. Blackwell, Dillon Marshall, Lexus Blackwell, Jacob Keros, Jaxson Blackwell and Madison Blackwell; grandmothers: Donna Wilson and husband, Doby and Eunice Campbell; special friends Brandy Hale and the Hale family; and a host of extended family members and friends that will miss him dearly.
