Matthew V. Patrick, EMT, NP passed away on November 19, 2016 at the age of 34. He was born on August 18, 1982 to Wayne and Ronda (Swanner) Patrick in Dallas, TX.

Matthew was a 2001 graduate of North Mesquite High School and a 2015 graduate of UT Southwestern Medical, where he obtained his certification as an EMT. He was employed by CareFlite and enjoyed his job very much. Matthew was a “jack of all trades” and an extremely hard worker. In his short life, he served in many roles, from car sales, working in a restaurant, working for his Dad and also as an executive assistant for Dignity Hospice. He was also dedicated, for many years, in service to Time To Revive in Richardson and also as a leader for Young Life in the Mesquite area during his high school years. As a member of First Baptist Church Dallas, he was also involved in providing sound assistance for their televised services. Matthew was a true believer in his Lord. His greatest pleasure in life was his family and he will be held forever in their hearts.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents Wilbert and Francis Patrick and Earl and Dicie Swanner; mother-in-law Sheila Morris and uncle Dennis Patrick.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 13 years Elizabeth Patrick; parents Wayne and Ronda Patrick; brother Brandon Patrick, his beloved dog, Ginger and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that will miss him dearly.
