Shannon Michelle Bailey, 47, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on May 16, 2017 in Heartland, TX. She was born on March 6, 1970 to David Evans and Alma Sue (Fisher) Bailey in Dallas, TX.

Shannon was the most selfless, caring and hardworking woman you could possibly know, she would gladly give you the shirt off of her back. Her spirituality was very important to her and she gave everything that she had to the Lord. Shannon always put everyone else first and always above her own needs. She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading her Bible (especially the book of Psalms) and listening to spiritual music. Shannon loved her children, grandchildren and family and they will forever hold her in their hearts.

Preceding her in death are her grandfathers Douglas Bailey and Robert Fisher.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Holley Kelley and husband, James; Mallorey Zermeno and husband, Brandon; and Joseph Beebe; grandchildren: Kieghly Luke, Kinley Kelley and James Kelley IV; mother Alma Bailey; father David Bailey, Sr.; siblings: David Bailey, Jr. and wife, Rachael; and Nikki Humphreys and husband, T.J.; grandmothers: Stella Cutshall and Noma Meeks; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
